Hello everyone, I'm a newbie to this site and to having an aquarium altogether. I'm 23, in the Navy stationed in New Orleans, LA. I was helping a friend of mine move and he had a 30 gallon aquarium. Well while we were moving it I asked him where we were going with it, and he said to the dumpster. I wasn't going to let a perfectly good 30 gal aquarium go to waste, so we moved it to my apartment instead. Anyways, right now I have two goldfish (which were his), two black tetras, and a pleco. I just replaced his Tetratec pf 150 filter with a Penguin 200 with the biowheel. I plan on getting more fish as soon as I can get my water ready and balanced. Well just thought I'd give a quick introduction. Later you guys.
