Hello everybody

Decided after a while to finally join a decent fish forum, have had tropical fish for a few years now but only ever had a small 10G with a few neons till i moved into my own place a few years ago.

I bought a 60L bio-orb at first but i have to say they are rubbish and a waste of 90 odd quid, So i went out and bought a 60L Tetra Aqua Art and it was a great little tank but I wanted bigger, so a year ago i upgraded to a 200L tank and moved the inhabitants of the 60L over and added a few more, It is currently home to:

4 Cherry Barbs 1 Male to 3 Female
4 Neons
4 Glowlights
2 Corys
1 Endler Hybrid which was a hitch hiker from a fishshop was a tiny fry
1 Plec soon to be rehomed

Added after upgrade all above were pretty small but have fairly grown

2 Female Bettas bought when they were pretty small
6 or so Cherry Shrimp

Not sure if i can add anywore though tank is moderately planted and overfiltered (filter that was meant to come with tank was a fluval internal but was missing so place i bought it gave me a Fluval 305 as it was only fluval in stock.

Betta Tank 1 10L have a 25L sitting waiting on my order arriving:

1 Black and Purple/Blue Male

Betta Tank 2 Temp 15L container again have a 28L Bowfront also waiting on order of gravel and other bits

Hoping to use the old 10L betta tank when I move him as a shrimp tank for breeding a few cherries

Also have my old 60L Tetra Tank but not sure if i have room unless it goes in the kitchen lol

Well, if I were you I'd bring the neons and glowlights up to at least six, likewise with the cories, as they like to be in groups, and add maybe another 4 female bettas, as usually just having two can lead to fighting, although with that big of a tank with other fish, this may be less of a problem.
I'd see what you can find out in the betta section if you can.

I'm sure you'd still have room for more stock after that.

I agree with NinjaSmurf about upping your neon total. Neons are so much fun to watch swim and in a larger school its even better!

I was actually considering bringing them up to 6, love the contrast against the plants of the neons and i love the corys always busy scavenging the bottom, my neons and glowlights seem to school together at the minute, i did have 5 neons i took from acorn pets they were in a tank with tiger barbs and had practically no fins left 3 of 5 survived and the other 2 passed away during the night. Also like the sound of more bettas there just hard to find around here.
