hello, i am new to this site, and would like some starting advice. i am about to get my first tank. 20 gallons, i am thinking 10 neon tetras, 8 bloodfin tetras and 5 peppered corydoras. some thoughts/advice on keeping these guys would be most appreciated!

as far as i know i dont see a problem with that stocking, just remember to cycle it

Hi and welcome to the forum.
 
A nice selection you have picked there, however I would suggest getting either the neons or bloodfin - you have suggested nice group sizes for them but I would expect a 20 gallon to be a little too small to support both groups. I'd also go for 6 of the cories instead of 5

okay, thank you! if i get rid of the bloodfins, say, could i get 15 neons?
