Thanks for the kind welcomes......

Just plan on a small mixed tank this time, Bottom/mid/and top, Active sholeing fish anit really decided yet to be honest but something along them lines, Like a heavly plant tank also

Hello! And welcome :)! For a planted tank what kind of plants do you plan to keep (in terms of light needs)

Welcome to the forum.

Make sure to fishless cycle your tank - read the cycling link in my signature to find out how.
Please do not just wait a week or two before adding fish, letting the water set with everything running does nothing except ensure everything is running. Make sure you read the cycling link in my signature, if you don't fishless cycle your tank, then you fishes lives could be at risk.

Thanks blondie........!! (Very intresting )

Hello and
welcomeani.gif

This is a great forum to ask questions on absolutely anything about tanks, fish, plants and other things that I don't know about yet!

Looking around at other posts, you will certainly pick up quite a few good tips, and Blondie has given you the most important one yet, Fishless Cycling is a must.

My tip is, if you have not alreay done so, get a decent freshwater master test kit to test your tank water for Ph, Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrates. Liquid test kits are much more favourable than the test strip kind.

You will learn, like me, a hell of a learing curve but immensely interesting and thoroughly enjoyable hobby in fishkeeping!
