Well this is my introduction to you all here!
After being a lurker for a while I finally decided to show up and register!
My first tank was a measly 35 litre setup with 3 goldfish, who like most other goldfish keepers soon realise how hygenic they are After rehousing them into our pond I went tropical. I started off using the existing setup and bought a heater, and went on to have a handful of neon tetras. These lived for nearly a year then developed NTD.
After the tetras demise and a solid look on my tropical fish keeping I housed some silver sharks. I couldn't keep them in this cramped tank, so I bought a new tank. These quickly outgrew their new tank, so I gave them to a bloke I knew from the LFS.
I currently run a 98 litre tank with a handful of guppies, 4 Siamese flying foxes, a betta and 4 corydoras. And with guppies being guppies I am now expecting some more fry on the way and have bought a second hand 180 litre tank for a bargain.
I went to cycle the tank and after a few hours noticed a nice puddle on the front room flooring, so I have resealed it and currently waiting for the silicone to cure before moving the males and other stock to the new tank and keep the 98 for fry raising / hospital tank.
Hope that's good enough to warrant a free beer from you all
