i had already posted before i noticed this thread so i thought id intoduce myself. im from san diego. i have just recently gotten into tropical fish. and boy am i hooked. i go to the fish store at least twice a week now. not always to buy, but because im weird like that. right now i have a 20 gallon tank. steady 80 degrees. have 2 mollies(male/female) and just tonight the gravid female let loose about 28 frys. couple got eaten by the male because, me being a noob, didnt separate the female for the birthing. so while this was happening i was fishing out the frys and putting them in a makeshift sep tank while my wife jet to the pet store to get a floating incubator. i have about 23-25 frys in there now and its so awesome. i have 2 bronze corys. and 4 danios. the danios didnt like the frys one bit. which was why i hastely removed them before i got the sep tank. i had them in a small bowl filled with the tanks water. im getting a 50 or 65 gallon tank tomorrow. havent decided which yet. i cant wait to get that thing cylced so i can get those babies in there. although ill still keep them in the sep tank for a couple weeks. only thing is im not sure what to feed them. the pet peeps say just to crush teh pebbles that i feed the adults, but is there a better food for them? any help or pointers would be appreciated. thanks.
