I am a newcommer here, but have been into fish keeping for 60+ years. I am a retired biology teacher, have kept Koi (outdoor and indoor ponds and published in KOIUSA Magazine 3 times), fish for Muskies in WI, and currently maintain an 8 aquarium (75g, 55g, three 33g longs, 20g long, 10g, and a 5g) fish room. The 5g and 10g are QTs that I keep fish in 24/7 so the bb biology is ready at a moments notice. I have kept crappies, bass, sunfish, catfish, guppies, platies, gouramis, bettas, discus, barbs, angelfish, many tetras, rasboras, and corycats. Atm….I am focused on nano fish in big tanks, cardinal tets, ember tets, green neon tets, and rasboras (blue neon, kubotai, espei, hets, rummynose, chili), and gold dwarf barbs. A few larger fish atm include congo tets and angelfish.

I am happily married, have two awesome daughters, two grandsons, and my beloved Collie….best buddy. I love to do car shows with either of my two Datsun 280ZXs and play the violin/fiddle, chess, live in the country and keep 22 plants of 16 varieties of Hydrangeas, and do sporadic wood carvings of birds and occasional native fish.

I look forward to discussions and pics of the membership’s fish/tanks.

Welcome to the Wet Side! Great photos and bio. I am close to your age and have been keeping fish and plants for just a bit longer. But, I wonder what you do in your spare time?:yahoo:
