my names Linda i live in derby
i currently have 3 tropical tanks
i only started up again 9 weeks ago
i used to have 12 tanks years ago
you could say i was obsessed with the hobby lol
anyway great site here and very friendly with lots of knowlegde welldone

hi ty for the warm wellcome
ive not fully stocked my tanks yet far to soon
i used nutrafin cycle plus filty media out of my friends filters
exchanged new for old sponges
the only tank that appears to be stocking well is the fry tank
my molly had between 40-50 fry tonight
my 4ft tank i currently only have 6 fish in and the other tank around the same
i have mollys zebra danios platys and guppies just the hardy ones to begin with
at the rate they are breeding i will be giving some away rather than buying many
im feeding the fry on egg yolk ive made up in ice cubes and then mixed with 100 ml water in spray bottle they love it
but also flake finely crushed i had a few born last week they are twice the size now
forgot to mention im doing wc regular in fry tan k and main tanks 10% wc every few days now
no problems so far and no fish loss so im very happy
