I agree, bumping super old threads is annoying... but I find some of the replys in here pretty rediculous. Calling someone an arsehole because they screwed up? Come on, we can educate and guide them into doing things right, not ridicule and turn them off from the hobby forever. Everyone was a beginner at one time or another and I think it's easy to forget what it was like then. Seriously, we should at least be respectful of eachother. I really don't think you should reply unless you have something to say, just posting an insult is really a waste of everyone's time. Just my .02

I agree with ImperfectFaerie - yes, it is upsetting and damn frustrating that this person has done this but we need to understand that at least they came here for help which is a sign that at least they care a little bit. Some would just flush the fish but they came to TFF for help... if the reaction they get is being called an 'arsehole' then next time they have an issue they will not bother asking for help and just ignore the problem for fear of getting yelled at.

They say they've done their research but got it wrong. They've learnt the hard way, and unfortunately the fish has suffered. That sucks, and this person should have done proper research before they attempted breeding! But lets not resurrect boards that are going to cause issues.
