what wattage heater do i need for a 130L tank? i keep seeing some sites saying 150 and others saying 200.....im just real stuck on which one to get! a little help would be very helpfull thanks!

I have a 100 watt for a 20 Gal, 200 watt for my 55 gal. I run a 150 watt in my 36 gal = 136L and it is good.

So yeah 150 watt is what you would want. Anything lower and it will not be as accurate Might not even get up to the temp you want. But the lower watt will heat it just not as well. You could use a 100 Watt I think it would be ok depending on the type of heater. Some are better then others.

oh right, well i was thinking of a fluval heater, dont fancy non brand rubbish lol, so would it matter if i got a heater which was say 250wat?? or 200 watt?? i just wonder in case i decided to get a bigger tnk in the future, so basicaly would it be safe for me to use a heater which is over rated for my tank?

As said a 150W would be ideal,

You can of course go as large as you like but tbh why bother spending more money on electric than you need to
