Heater

I'm getting a 2.5 g minibow tank. I want to get a heater for it, but I'm not sure which to go with..i'd like to go with whatever is cheapest, but i think it might be pretty important to have an adjustable temp.
Bettas like 79*F right?..so would one of those heaters that is preset to 78 be too bad of an idea?
does anyone have any success with those little 7.5 W mini heaters like this
this one is a good price, but i can't figure out if it's adjustable, 25W

you will only need a 25 maximum watt heater it might even warm itself up to above room temp with it having not much water 2.5 g

and the 25 watt heater i guess would be adjustable

i know you guys have got to have more suggestions for heaters.

I already checked the pinned topic about heaters, i use the same lfs as the op, and they are sold out of the 25W aquaclear ones. but i found them on ebay for like $22.
I found a Jebo 25W heater for about $15 on ebay.
so far the cheapest is the elite mini, but i am still doubting it's adjustable..every freakin site says the same thing about it, and non that i've come across mention if it is adjustable.
Any one use one of any of those? any suggestions?
i read that the elite mini is really fragile, true?
the heater is going to be going back and forth to college so might not be good if it's especially fragile.
there's a nice heater by hagen i saw, but it is also a preset one at 78.
any more opinions?

all elites ive seen are adjustable mate but i will check out some at my mates lfs and see what he says you never know i might be able to get you one cheap and send it over but dont get too exited though lol

haha that shipping might be quite a bit.
i hope it's adjustable it's the cheapest i've found..and i'm expanding a lot of fish stuff atm so money is kinda an issue.

I have one , and yeah theyre adjustable, but theres no temperature markings on it so you're adjusting blind, but it does the job!
