hi i have just brought a 30 litre hex tank and i already have a 50 watt thermal compact mini i was wondering if i could use this in this tank as on the back of heater box it says it is for tanks upto 18 litres put i thought 50 watts would be fine as my 60 litre tank only has a 50 watt heater .

A 50 watt heater seems ok for 30 litres.

I am getting a 400+ litre aquarium and it comes with a 300w heater, so I would have thought it would be more than ample.

heater seems ok running 2 days 26c seems steady it was that it said on box only for 1ft tank max 4 gallons thought that didnt seem right for a 50 watt heater.
