What heater should i use for a 4ft 200l tank?

most heaters will say what size they can do - 200w should do it.

Actually the power of a heater required is based on the tank size and how much the temperature differs from ambient / room temperature... This can mean you would need anywhere between 150w and 400w depending on how hot you run your tank.

PHE recomends the following on the heater box for a 55g tank (roughly over 200l)

Temp Diff >> Watts Reqd

10F >> 127W
20F >> 253W
30F >> 380W

30F may sound like a lot - but people have tanks in their basement and the temp down there is like 60F and you wanna run a Discus tank at 86F - so you see the point...
