Heater

I need to get a heater for a 12" nano cube tank.

Does it matter what Wattage I get? I.e. I could probably splash out to a 200W/300W heater, but would this be overkill when a 50/100W would suffice?

Would it cost me more to run? Would it be faster to heat the water?

50 watts will do a 18inch 5-10 gallon tank(23-45 litres)
