Heater Won't Work No More...help

Hello all,
I have a topfin 25 watt heater in my tank, it was working great, kept the temp. around 80-82 degrees. Well the light went out and has not come back on, and the temp. has dropped to 73 degrees. The fish are fine, for now. My only concern is, it does get pretty cool in my dorm at night, am I in danger of losing my fish?
I have X-Ray Tetras. Thanks, Matt

You need to get a new heater. It seems that the thermostat is broken on your Top Fin. Its a fairly common problem with heaters. I am not sure who makes the Top Fin heaters for PetsMart but if they are made like the Whisper heaters than the thermostat commonly breaks.
