I've recently taken delivery of my Jewel Rio 300 but wont have time to fill it for a little while and need a new pump and heater anyway.
Was thinking of putting my filter media into my 50G stacked horizontaly (makes sense if you have a Jewel) on the bottom with a 500l powerhead pushing water at them to get a head start on the cycle....
Anyone think it's worth it or is it a waste of time?
