He jumped

I lost my betta yesterday. He jumped out of the back of my 10g tank. I thought it was cause the tank was cycling, but I checked the levels and it was actually done cycling. I think he just jumped. I know he was happy. Had a huge bubblenest.

I have a screen top over my bettas tank although he is not a jumper. Safety 1st

Try adding more plants to make the betta fell more secure (if you get another one). Try a screen or soemthing, because they do jump out.

Sorry Amber, a screen in the future sounds like a good idea, lots of the fish we like are able to jump out of even the smallest holes.

I have plants and a terracotta pot in the tank for security. He jumped out a small whole in the back by the heater.
