LUK ITS A FUZBALL
Well, I woke up this morning and my male had build a semi-large bubblenest. I was suprised - I had done a 25 percent water change the day before, because I had planned on gradually getting the fin rot medicine out and putting a new one in, because his fin rot didn't look like it was healing - though I figured he wouldn't notice. However, apparently, he did.
Anyway, should I continue doing 25 percent water changes every day or will this wreck his enthusiasm for the nest? The female shows nothing except for very faint gold vertical bars that go halfway up her body, hardly considered good enough.
Anyway, here's a picture.
The male tending the bubble nest. This is the largest segment. I took off the lid to take this picture. There's a thin layer of bubbles going all across the rim of the water surface.
It's so cute to watch him constantly tending to the bubble nest and then swimming over to flare at the female.
