Hc Rooting Question

HELP?

Should I re-plant it on its side so the roots grow downwards, or should I plant it vertically.
When i originaly planted it i planted it in clumps but its starting to go brown so im now going to plant every one individually

You could always trim it down so you have more pieces, i found as long as there is a route attached to the cut piece then it will grow just aswell, i would just plant vertically making sure the route is actually buried.

Thats the thing though, if i plant vertically, there will be 3 roots coming from the plant, are they all supposed to go down into teh substrate?
Im just confused as to where i should cut that piece, could you open the image in paint mark, and draw some lines where it should be cut please?

i would cut it at each junction onto a new part imo

only rough m8 lol, but as bagu said... if you cut so you have routes still connected to each stem then it should be fine, ive merrily 'hacked away' at this plant and it's still grown fine lol

TBH m8 i wouldnt worry to much about the routes, ive found no matter how much you cut you still get the route system growing like it does

how quickly does HC carpet? or start to grow?

i dose TPN and Liquid Carbon daily and have good lighting; is it worth a shot?

Pretty quick if your dosing and have good light, ive herd people say if you dose easy carbo or to much of it the HC doesnt do to well... i over dosed by probably triple or probably more than the amount recommended and it grew fine lol.... i couldnt be bothered measuring so just tipped in so much, 250ml bottle on 35litre tank last me 2 weeks lol thats how much i over dosed it
