hazzy /cloudy

my tank is very hazzy and cloudy for the past week and half
had it for over about a month
help!!!

If its only been running for a month or so, its probably a bacterial bloom which should clear up in a few days. Are you cycling with or without fish? If without leave it to run its course, if you are cycling with fish and its really cloudy, do a water change every couple of days. Either way it will clear up soon.

Unless its really bad I would leave it. If it is really bad, tackle it with water changes, I wouldn't add anything to the tank, though there are products available.

thanks its jsut driving me nuts i did 1 water change no help.. its so hazy and cloudy u can almost see it floating on the top of the water

Hi..I answer this post frequently because I had the same problem. PATIENCE!! DON'T ADD CHEMICALS! Don't over feed. It will clear up if you are doing your water changes, etc. My tank took a long time to cycle, almost 6 weeks. Two weeks later it cleared up. SH

Maybe there are clouds because of too much food?
