I’ve been wanting to put frogbit in my tank. I’ve tried once but it all ended up dying. I have a hang on filter that would push it towards the bottom of the tank and it all ended up dying off. I have an LED light(not sure if it’s a UV light or not) my other plants seem to thrive. But I could never start the frog bit. Any thought or advice on how I can get my frogbit to thrive like my other plants?

The vast majority of LEDs on the market don't produce anyUV light. UV LED's are currently very expensive and don't produce much UV light. So they are mostly used in expensive scientific equipment.

I have had duck weed and Slavinia pushed under water due to the current from the filter. They never killed them. However I don't currently have and frogbit. Most of the time when a floating plant dies it is because of a nutrient deficiency. Are you using any fertilizer? If not that is probably the cause. Some plants will do better in low nutrient water while others won't. So the Frogbit is just having a harder time dealing with the low nutrient levels in your tank.
