Having Second Thoughts

Hi,

As you probably know by now... I was going to stock my 60l tank with

3 mollies
5 glowlight tetras
5 harlequin rasboras
and 6 corys...

But now im thinking that i want something instead of corys like a blue lobster or some shrimp or something...

Any thoughts?

I think id prefer cherry shrimp as they are something different...

Anyone got any info on special care or requirements?

And how many? to go with the above list minus corys.

you could have the corys and the shrimps as the shrimps create such little waste you dont count them in with the stocking per gallon.

Thing is with the corys, im having second thoughts because ive redone my tank with a denser background of plants and im putting a sizeable piece of bogwood in and im not sure if they need a decent amount of flat surface or not. If they do then they wont be happy in my tank...

well go with what you like then. i would say that having cherrys will be good and also they will breed alot so you can make some money, not alot, but some money form selling the babies when you get too many.

After reading about them, i think id rather have them and my tank will suit them perfectly.

How many would you recommend in my 60L tank along with

5 harlequin rasbora
5 glowlight tetra

they will breed like crazy so start of with 5 and in a couple months time you will have about 20-30.

Have you kept cory's before? If not, I'd reconsider ditching them - they're one of the most interesting, fun to watch types of fish commonly available imo.
