My tank has been set up for about 4 months now. For the 2nd time since it's been set up, i've noticed that the water gets a yellowish tint to it several days after a water change. The last time i checked the water stats (on 6 Dec) they were all good. I haven't checked today because i am treating with pimafix for popeye, whitespot and sores. I can check it, but i wasn't sure if the meds would interfere with the readings. (please advise on that) I'm wondering if there is a problem with the filter. I purchased the entire setup used and i've never used a canister filter before. The guy i bought if from said i can use charcoal if i wanted to but i didn't have to. I'm wondering if i should and if that is why the water turns colors. Any help would be appreciated.
