Fish Fanatic
After the 'fish boiling' heater malfunction incident a few weeks ago, I was in two minds whether to continue with fish keeping at the moment. But after P@H agreed to pay for all my lost fish and replace my malfunctioned heater... I thought why not.
After re-vamping my tank, changing red stones to black and white etc etc its looking quite pretty again
(not so much like a graveyard anymore) Moved a few ornaments around and got some new plants etc.
Whilst I was in my LFS looking around for new stocking ideas, I noticed a tank full of mixed fry... from mini placo's, molies, guppies etc etc. and I thought I would get 4 baby fish as first additions to my 'new' tank. Two white mollies and two black and white spotty ones. So I asked the guy if they were for sale as id rather get them small and watch them grow up! He said that they were free and I could have as many as I wanted because they have loads more on the way. (yay)
So after all the sadness and stress I have been through lately due to the heater failure...(and all the correspondance with pets at home about it) I now have four tiny little molly fry in my tank and they are adorable. The tank looks huge for such small fish, they have so much room!
I am thinking of getting some Angel fish when the mollies get bigger.
I have named the Mollies, Edward and Bella, and Alice and Jasper (for all of you who have read the Twilight Saga or seen the film - you will know why!)
Im having a good day
Il try and get some pictures to post of my little new additions, for anyone who is interested in watching them grow. Although they are so small (and blend in with my stones!)
