Hi,

I've been a bit quiet on the board recently, I've just stripped the tank out and had a rearrange, hence the cloudiness, this should clear overnight. Bought some new wood and replanted. I already have Salvinia but will be looking at a free floating species such as Bladderwort or Java Moss to provide some more cover in the open water towards the top of the tank. I think this will help to round things off nicely...

It's a 130 litre with 7 x Gold Tetras, and 1 x Peacock Goby at present, I will be adding about 8 X Sparkling Gourami in due course.

Nice tank. Just a opinion, but, I think you should get a nice tall plant to go in the back left hand side of the tank. Just to hide the heater. Awesome though.

I had a few problems with the new wood, it developed a layer of slimy fungal/bacterial mucus which was sloughing off and making the water look terrible. It was like something out of "The Blob"! Anyway long story short, I've changed the wood over and added some bladderwort, which is in the top left of the tank. I may well move the heater so that it is down behind the plants on the left:

I wont be making any other major changes for a while, the other half says she wants it to look the same from one week to the next!
