So yesterday when watching my fish. I noticed a different behaviour in two of the angels.
If the other two came near one of the pair the other would  have it away. Then i noticed one of them nudging the others side. Not really aggressive and they locked lips a few times. Have I got a pair here now?

I will get a video when I get home if they happen to behave this way.

I also raised their water temperature slightly.

certainly sounds like a pairing. Lip locking is the main sign. They generally only lip lock with their chosen mate. They might also 'tail slap' this is probably the nudging that you've seen. My female likes to peck the chest and head of her mate, it can look a bit aggressive at times but he doesn't seem to mind. He keeps going back for more anyway!

I'll look forward to the baby pictures then lol

EDIT:

I thought this might help you. A video of my pair just before laying eggs. Does it look like this with yours?

*happy dances*
I'm pretty excited right now :D
As soon as I saw them lip locking I had a feeling they were forever paired xD

That is exactly what they were doing!
But not seen anything today.

do you have other angels in the tank aswell as the new pair? If so you might find you get some aggression showing now to the 'spares'. See how it goes.

I had 3 females and the one male. Luckily he paired with the female of the same kind (smokey blushing angel) and not with the platinum or the marbled. I got the pairing I was hoping for but I had to re-home the two spare females cos the platinum female went nuts at the pair and tried to kill the male

I do yes but already have a plan to remove them.
A friend is getting a new tank hopefully and they will be going to him :)

But curently I can separate them and leave the 'pair' in my currently home for them due to my redo of the main tank

see how it goes for now ... with it being a new pairing it might be a while before they get round to breeding so might be a while before having the others in the tank becomes a problem ... alternately it might not be a problem at all. You can never tell with cichlids!

Fingers crossed it won't be a problem as at feeding time today they all seemed happy with each other
And just now, the ones I believe have paired; chased one of the loners away.

I also hope they enjoy their now home. I certainly am :D

some angels are really well behaved and some arn't ... just the way it is.

My pair are living with small fish, only bicker with each other and are basicly no bother at all. I've read some horror stories .... oto's stuck in angels mouths being the worst one but my angels are living happily with three oto's. Just goes to show really

Yeah i have heard some too. but i dont thuink that drastic D; wow

I do have some small fish and they havent bothered them yet. only time will tell i guess

my two arn't bothered with my Harley's and technicly they are small enough to be eaten but they just seem to see them as family. The Harley's do tend to stay out the angels way though ... they do seem to be a bit bothered by the angels but not massively

And yeah oto's in an angels mouth means death for both fish as the oto extends it's barbed fins and wedges itself. The angel chokes and the oto is wedged. Not a good scenario

I was going to get some harlequins.
The tetras I have are smaller and still there at the moment xD
But I want to remove then personally.

Nasty stuff
