I have had my plants potted for a while now. I decided to remove them from the pots and trim the roots to see if i could encourage some extra growth.

Fast forward 24 hours and my plants now look like crap. The leaves are browning and they look dull. Should they recover? Ive just noticed a few roots are not fully planted, will this effect them?

The plants are all amazon swords

They are most likely adjusting to the new habitat. It is completely normal. But do you have any harmful substances in the new substrate?
