went back down my local aquatic centre today and they had 2 "platinum short tailed fighters" said.. I had never heard of those ..bloke says in order book it said "new strain"...I looked at one of these fish and it followed me with its little eyes...no I said went outside told my hubby and he (who has obviously now given up on my compulsive betta buying disorder said get the b.....r if you want it.) So I did he is cute, not settled yet so terrible piccie... but dunno what tail type he is

will post another piccie in a few days and he needs a name

he's probably a plakat. but he's red so he cant be platinum. platinums are opaque x coppers. maybe he's a red dragon?

Well Wispy, whatever he is I love him to bits. He is in his tank with a bit of crispy weed from the pond which has now been thoroughly investigated. He is looking for something to eat but I am going to leave him for a bit. He just came to the front of the tank and stared at me!
