Im about to try hatching brine shrip. HAve any of you tried this/has it worked? Is there any pointers on what to do and what not to do?

Most eggs that you buy come with instructions. I use a simple one gallon pickle jar, an air pump, airline tubing, and an airstone. I have also found that if you run the airline through a funnel and place this over the mouth of the jar, you won't get a "salt spray" all over everything from the bubbling airstone.

Before collecting the newly hatched shrimps to use as feed, pull the airstone and tubing out of the jar...the egg shells will float to the top, and if you place a light source next to the jar, the shrimps will congregate there where they will be easy to siphon out, free from unwanted shells.
