Has She "squared Off"?

My platy is obviously pregnant. She has been for a while. I've never had any pregnant fish or anything and I don't want to put her in the breeders net too soon. I already have her in the net, but I don't want to keep her there too long. I was hoping someone could look at a picture and tell me if she's "squared off" yet. If she isn't, how long do you think before I should put her in the net?

I find the tube appears slightly when they're ready. She does look quite square though. Look forward to seeing the babies.

I can see the tube in all my pregnant fish (there are at least 3). Maybe they're all about ready (I got them all the same day)? Or maybe I just think I'm seeing it? I'm not sure, but I'm really excited about baby fishies!!!
I'm just trying to save a few of the fry. Since I don't have an extra tank to keep them in, the breeders net, my plants, and my castle are the only somewhat safe places there are for them.

The net will be fine to house them in, just make sure that the top of it is situated above the water line as platy's can jump back into the net.

Still no babies . I hope she has them soon! I'm getting anxious...

I am still waiting on mine as well. I am also getting pretty anxious. Wishs he would just drop her fry already. She has been sitting at the bottom for quite some time.. every so often moving to another corner of the tank. I am really hoping she drops today.

I took her out of the breeders net today. She's been in there for about a week, I felt bad so I let her out. I was worried about stressing her out by moving her back to the tank, but she seems fine. I just don't understand why she hasn't had her babies yet! I guess I don't have the eye for that like some of you do. The plan right now is to just let her be in the tank and try to find as many fry after birth and move them to the net. I also have 2 other platies that look very close to popping! I should be able to save at least a few.
