Has My Cycle Stalled?

I'd advise not adding any more ammonia.

I added ammonia for the last time at about 10pm the night before I got my fish.
Added fishies the next afternoon and everything was fine, tests all good.

I'm pretty sure 12 hours without ammonia is fine.

You don't need to add any more. It's possible some bacteria will die off but not enough that it will matter. As a matter of fact, after a fishless cycle, you have more bacteria than you really need so some will die off anyway once you add fish as they will not create 4ppm of ammonia every 12 to 24 hours unless you are feeding a lot.

As for the lights, you don't necessarily have to have lights. They are primarily for your view pleasure. The fish will get plenty of ambient light as long as the room has a window. I'm sure there is a way you could put lights in the tank but I'm not that creatively inclined to know how to do it. Plants aren't really a necessity but the fish do need hiding places so you need some caves, plants, etc. just so they can find refuge when they want to.
