I am still putting everything together for my new tank. I want to have a heavily planted tank and with my pH running about 6.6 and KH at 1, I am thinking of aragonite sand or something similar for the substrate. Has anyone tried anything like this product:

I think I would like the dark color. With angels, I want to make sure I have a pH that is suitable for them. I also want some corys so I need a sandy substrate as opposed to just using crushed coral. I would like to have enough buffering to be able to use CO2 if needed for the plants.
Also, what experience has anyone had with aragonite sand or Black Tahitian Moon Sand? Thanks for your help.
