I purchased my screwcumbers from ebay think they cost around £3 for two with postage. Have a peek on the website www.screwcumber.co.uk. I am very pleased with them and would highly recommend :) no I have nothing to do with the site I only happened to purchase these from ebay.

They look cool! :good: But aren't they basically a corkscrew without a handle?

Yeah I have a couple and think they're great :good:

But many people use a spoon or a fork and think it's a load of wasted cash ;)

Yes and no :) looks similar, but made from high grade marine steel. And the edges are blunt.

yes lol  they work so well.

Fair enough. :fun: Probably heavier than a corkscrew too.

I just stick a couple of bendable plant weights on cucumbers and they sink right on down to the bottom. They take up less space too.

Likewise. For 99p for a roll of plant weight, it's cheaper, and sometimes easier.

overpriced.
plant weight is as effective.

I recommend them. You can make veg kebabs for your fish and to my mind look better. I'm all about aesthetics :) and to be honest if £3 in this day an age is a lot of money to some people I'd be worried. I thought they were cheap.

i gert my plant weights for free, and they work just fine...

I've been using stainless steel screws for years. Great for veggies, as well as attaching driftwood to slate.

Might be shallow (though my tank isn't!), but I'm totally with you on this !
Yeah I know the fish couldn't really care less, but I do !
