Has Anyone Had This Before?

My molly who was clearly pregnant and looked really square all of a sudden lost her gravid spot and is now like 39 days on now and she still looks big. is she ill or still pregnant. All levels in the water are fine and the other fish are perfectly normal and they all are eating and swimming around normally. its a 70L take with 3 mollies in and thats it. It has been set up for a good 2 and a half months. Has anyone got any ideas what could be happening?
I am going away so when i get back i am thinking of adding other fish to the tank. I was thinking maybe slowly adding some corys and some zebra danios. any ideas what else to add with them?

If you want baby mollies, avoid the zebras. They are just too fast and are always ready to eat a fry or two.

As far as your female, can you get us a good side view picture?

I had a guppy do this. I even took pictures, huge gravid spot, completely squared... then next day smaller (mayeb 1/4 smaller), not squared and no babies... she ended up having her babies 2 weeks after that... her pregnancies since then have been shorter. Nothing ill came of it, no idea why it happened that way. So, that is my limited experience with something similar.
