I can tell you that the owner (if he's still the original owner) always seemed to be reliable. He is banned from this site only because he did excessive advertising.

ok thanks inchworm thats slightly more reassuring.... i think.....
its just that since paying for 4 corys i have not been able to get lee on the phone and his website doesnt load up anymore. ive left numerous messages on his phone and still nothing, also his email wont work too! im sat here waiting for a call and my fish. last contact was tuesday on his mobile and nothing since. i just dont think its a great way to run a business and if im not getting the fish i need a refund and ill start my search from scratch again.....

Yes, his company name was added to our swear filter. We have recently added a code so the mods can tell just what has been said that was filtered out.

I hope this works out for both of you. Perhaps he is going through some hard times. Please let me know what happens with this.

ill keep you informed on progress, but to be honest if i hear nothing by tuesday next week then im going to process a claim through paypal...... i hope it doesnt come to this as i have my heart set on the 4 fish ordered and cant find any anywhere else for sale, lee had ran out but offered me some of his breeding stock which was very good of him but if i dont get them then its not much use!

Hi Mattlee, I have been trying to contact this seller for some corys. as you say the website doesnt load, but i did email him this morning regarding the sale of 10 black aeneus (to which he hasnt replied, but to be fair, its only been a matter of afew hours).
However, the sellers shop is not that far from me and if i dont get a reply, i may pop over and take a look myself.
Do you happen to have the opening hours to hand, i dont want to take a trip over if its going to be shut.
If i do manage to make contact, would you like me to ask where you shipments gone?
It will be at least wedsneday before i can get there, but i hopefully will be able to make contact before then.
If i do find anything, ill post on here to update the shop status

i have been trying to email him but kept getting the email demons sending the mail back to me as if there isnt an email address anymore!!!!!!!!! not sure of opening times and cant find out due to website not working so cant help you there im affraid. if you do get hold of lee then just ask him to ring me or email me to let me know if i am going to get the fish or not. i would be gratefull if you could as i really want the fish but just want to know when they are coming as im sure you can understand. if i dont get a reply soon, like i put in previous post i will look at getting a refund. fingers crossed and thanks bingy bong

I really do feel for you mattlee I ordered some fish, shrimp and bits and bobs, from someone on here in january of this year!!!!!!, never received goods and never received a refund, although I had bought some stuff from this person in the past and always received it promtly, with good communications along the way.

Couldnt open a paypal dispute, as was asked for the money as a gift, which I did!!!

Every now and then still message the person, Ive had one reply saying ooops sorry forgot, give me your addy for a refund, but never received it.

The person seems to be well thought of on here, and I would never name and shame, I just hope that your outcome is better than mine. As I lost what I consider to be a lot of money.

Im sure yourll be more assertive than I was and get a result, I just thought that people on here were better than that, as a lot of transactions are done on trust.

i agree with you nudzy alot is done on trust and its a shame peolpe are out there to con people but it happens im affraid.... sorry you lost your money i too have paid quite a bit for 4 corys about £60 ish so will be really annoyed if it goes wrong.

Hi Mattlee, tried to get in contact again this morning, sent email, as soon as it had gone it got returned. Rang shop no reply, rang mobile on 07722463946, still no reply. Unfortunateley its not looking good. I would be inclined to start a paypal dispute, sometimes there are legitimate reasons why the seller cannot be contacted - may be on holiday or similar. He may need a kick up the rear to get back on track.
I would be interested how you get on with this, not in a bad way, i hope everything all works out and you get either your fish or your money back at least.

I was quite looking forward to some black aeneus in the tank to go with the bronze ones.

One of our members, drewry, raises the black corys and has had them for sale in the past. You might try sending him a PM to inquire whether or not he is still offering them.

BTW, their name has officially been changed to C. schultzei (black).

Thanks VERY much for that Inchworm - both on the new name of the cory and on the member breeding them. I will pm him to see if he has some available.
