I'm looking for some long finned black widow tetras and found some listed at directtropicals.co.uk, listed as Hi-Fin black widow tetras. Are these the long finned variety? I hope to put them in with my angel fish, at the moment the angelfish is under 2 inches, I know she'll grow much larger, but will the black widow tetras be safe from her, now and also when she is fully grown - they are listed as medium/large? How many do I need to keep together?

Also how big do headstanders grow to and how big a group do they like to be in?

Thanks.

Ive used said company before, ordered two blue acaras, on the day they arrived, one was dead, other was in trouble, however, no quibbles from company and they sent two more, who did both arrive alive, if some what cold as they had no heat pack and were only in bags with nothing to keep them warm. However, one of the original fish did survive and turned out not to be a blue acara, but my Texas cichlid (in sig/avi)!! Cant help on your query regarding the hi fins but take from that story what you will regarding the company in question.

Thanks, must say that doesn't fill me with confidence, it's good that they replace them but I'd rather they didn't die in the first place.

So can anyone help with the long finned black tetras? Are they called hi fin and how big do they grow?

Thanks.
