Has Anybody Ever Come Across This?

well to cut a long story short i fond my beautiful docile male betta who sits on top of my filter [to survey his waters presumably] snuggled up with my female Alice on top of my filter also [she jumped out of my trap where i was keeping her because shes so tiny]

I really wish i could have gotten a picture it looked so cute. shes pure white and hes pure black...looked like they didn't have a care in the world

has anybody else seen their males and females act like this?
