Harlequin Rasbora

today a visit at pets at home I brought 8 nice looking Harlequin Rasboras the last time l kept this species was in a community take more than 40 years ago i’m hoping to get them in good condition. to See if I can breed them.

I tried and tried to breed that fish, when I lived with moderately hard water. Then we moved to a place that had soft water, and my daughter's 11 year old friend wanted tank advice. I helped her set up, and not long after she asked me if I wanted some of her baby harlequins...

I love Rasbora Het’s ! I think they’re prettier than many Tetra’s .

in this part of the UK the water is very hard the pH of 7.5+ so need to get the pH down before i have any chance of getting them to breed i’ve never tried breeding Rasbora so we’ll be a challenge
