Hardest Tropical Fish To Keep

Guppies although I have one now thats 2months in and still healthy (1st for everything)

I have 4 male guppies who are all heathy and fine so far. But they were added to a very well established tank so that may have helped.

I am afraid to try discus or rams because I really don't understand egg layers. Both are beautiful fish but are things I have never tried. Contrary to the folks above, I find guppies are cast iron tough. Actually I find almost any common livebearers are quite easy with my hard, high pH water. Just add food now and then and pull out fry to sell when there are too many in the tank.

I have a high Ph to! But, they just die, every single time. Mine really dont look too hot today. I tihnk im going to lose a female and a male in the next week to come.

ugh, i'm gonna give a few guppies another try once I decide my 10g stocking. ):
Gotta make a new tv show called Everyone hate's Guppies.

I've never found a tropical fish that is hard, even my discus and rams. (lucky me :D )

Maybe i should get a few of those chocolate gouramis...

I have never found any of my fish particulally hard, ive kept discus with no problems, but when it comes to dwarf gouramis i have no luck whatsoever!
