I just got a pair or Rams for my 10gal. I got them yesterday. They are in there alone. I got one Gold Ram and a Blue Ram. The Gold Ram seems to be doing great and is swimming around. The Blue ram hides under a lil decortaion thing and breathes really hard. I read here http://hjem.get2net.dk/Best_of_the_Web/blue%20rams.html that Rams can have some heavy breating when introduced into a new aquarium.
Is he gonna get better or what should i do. All the water is fine as far as Ph and stuff. Just did a water change before i put them in, and neither have them have eaten yet. Maybe i should pick up some blood worms...

Is it 2 males or a pair.

One male can be dominating the other. However, it is still possible with a pair also.

Have you noticed the gold ram beating or chasing blue.

If not.

It does usually tank a while for them to get adjusted to the tank. How were they introduced?

Also, was tank cycled before adding rams?

the Gold is chasin the Blue a little small bit. not much at all. Ive seen him do it 3-4 times in the whole time ive had them. The tank has been cycled for over a month now. I had a black skirt terta in there for a while. Ill have to look up on sexing them to see on the male/female thing.
I floated them in the top of the tank in their bags for 20-30 mins.

No i didnt...

Im pretty sure the Gold is a male with the longer spikes on forhead. And the Blue is a Female. She has really no tall spikes and smaller back fins. The gold is doing great and ate some blood worms i put in there.

Well for the future refrence, its not just about the temp, when acclimating fish.

Its amm,nitrite,nitrate and ph

Also, any other difference in water between tank and LFS.

10 gallons can be very unstable.

How long have they been in there?

Sounds like everything is just a waiting game now, Ram should be fine, I'd say 10 percent water change 2 morrow if still breathing hard
