Harassed Platy

I recently got three red wag platy's. One male and two females. One of the females is quite pregnant and the male follows her around intensely and whenever my other female gets close, he goes after her and chases her around the tank. Now, she spends most of her days hiding in one of the corners and doesn't eat much. Is there anything I can do to make sure that she is ok?

Welcome to the world of livebearers, it goes with the territory. I believe ratios of 1 male to 2 or 3 females is often recommended for platys, so you might try 3 females if you would still be within the stocking limits of your setup.

Increasing the complexity of your decor and plants can always hold the possibility of helping. Sitting quietly and observing the effects of a decor/plant change can sometimes help you get insight into what changes might help and can make you feel pretty good if you are successful.
