After the doing a huge waterchange to bring my two weeks of nitrites down from like 100ppm to 5ppm. Three days later i've built up some nitrite and it processes.. A week later it looks as if the nitrites arnt processing again.. Then this morning its all dropped to zero :d:D:D nitrates are up and ammonia is down.

Congrats mate

Sounds like you are arriving at the first safe place for fish. Dose one more time to make sure its all gone in a few hours and you can think about turning your "coming soon" 4 platys into your my new fish 4 platys.

Bah 10 hours on and it is showing like 3/4 ppm :'( How upsetting.

Onlinebug,
That is exacly why you always give it one more try. If you had fish in there, you would have a whole different set of problems. Sounds like you are getting close so just keep after it.
