Well, today is the day that I bought Rio one year ago exactly - I call it his birthday as I don't know the real day. 
I had been meaning to spice up Jerry and Rio's tanks with some nice decor lately and thought that Rio's birthday was the perfect occasion. Here are some pics: (excuse the fingerprints, my dad likes to wave at the fishies. I guess it's a good thing...)
Bought some lava rock:
Poked a little java fern in the natural holes of the rock:
Ta-da! Instant betta tank decor.

'I hit the big number ONE today!' You can see how munched his tail is there... he was bought like it, it's only just started to grow back after a year...
