Hap tank setup

I am setting up a tank for Hap Ahli and Hap Electra. I have read that these are open water fish so how shall I set the tank up to accomodate them? when they breed in the wild I presume they move closer to rocks etc. to give protection to fry but will this sort of Mbuna set up suit them?

They don't need nearly as much rockwork as mbuna do - just enough to provide a bit of cover should they want it - they'll use it more at first. They ypically like to hang out under the roof of a flat rock. They do some digging, so sand is nice, but it's not a requirement.
