I just saw a hanging fish bowl advertised. It's just 1 gallon and hangs on the wall. With that size i couldn't put a heater, but if I keep that room at around 78...what do you think? I don't have any of my bettas in anything that small...I'm debating.

Think plants look better in them than a betta, if it jumps out a big drop for them, I wouldn' risk it.

Eww! that's so true...and besides, it isn't covered, so dust particles can get in there (pet peeve of mine).

I just realized a way for my husband to be ok with me getting 2 more bettas (he normally wouldn't care except that in the past week I've bought 8)! I can get them "for my office", and I'm not even sure it's allowed...but if not then I will get to have them at home!

:good:

the hanging bowl idea is really crap, its a silly shape, wey too small for any fish, too small to heater, no filtretion, huge opening at the top for fish to jump right on out. plus, if it isnt attached to the wall properly, it will eventually break and come crashing down on the floor, probally killing your betta, and making a huge mess. invest in a proper 5 gallon tank that can be heated and filtered, and will look much better
