Hey, was reeding somwere on here that some people hand feed there fish (large catfish i think), and thought hey lets see if Neo (my Boy) will take it, so i put a sinking pellet on my finger lowerd it in there so it will stay on my finger, and he came straight up and took it off my finger :D, How cool is that, wot a champ.

Yea one of mine does that too. :D
And he was the one that was most shy when i got him.

I place bloodworm in the palm of my hand and it comes up and eats from it, it tickles a bit though

In my 40 odd years of fishkeeping, I've had a spiney Eel, Giant gouramie, (several) Oscars and now a Livingstoni eating (earthworm) from the hand (on the side) when I feed the other fish.

I also had a chicklet, who can't eat the dryied food (his mouth is small i think)
so i mesh a food ball and keep in my fingers and he comes up and eat.

It's a nice Feeling.

Whenever I fed my VT Betta blood worms, they'd fly around the surface and would end up in the filter instead of in his mouth, so I started sticking them to my fingers and holding them in the water. He'll only eat blood worms if they're off of my finger now (starting to regret that, as when he sees my finger over the tank now, he assumes it means bloodworms and jumps for my finger, and he's got one pretty violent way of eating, snapping the blood worms off my finger and snapping at my finger when he misses. :p)

I was originally hand feeding my betta blood worms (well I used tweezers) - they aren't sharp or even tweezers for that matter - I use them to hand feed my newts lol. Now he'll eat his own food like a 'big boy' however if he misses some food I have to stick my finger in to catch his attention.
