I bought 3 used Eheim Pro 2 2028's today, I've setup the first one and there appears to be a small hairline crack in the pipe that goes to my spraybar. It just leaks a little and doesnt squit out water so I dont think the owner might have noticed it. The water that leaks out right now is going into my aquarium anyways but I wanted to know if crazy glue would be enough to fix the crack. I didnt pickup any silicone today at the LFS and it'll be awhile before I can go again. If I can glue it, how long should I keep the filter off for? The tank only houses a single oscar, but unfortunatly the HOB filter I'm about to set back up has fresh Biomax inside so it wont be cycled for awhile so unless I do the fix on a water change day I cant keep the canister off for an extended period of time. Heres an image to show you how much water is coming out

i would wait and use silicone,

if you use crazy glue the stuff dries pretty fast, i would say you could use it after an hour

It does dry fast, and its safe for aquarium use as well. I'm going back to the LFS on Wednesday to pickup a stand for my 75g tank so I'll pickup a tube of silicone as well, I'll finally be able to attach some of this wood I have to rocks the crazy glue wasn't thick enough for a suitable bind
