which one is better, Guppy or molly from the point of view
of
#1. Life Span.
#2. Looks.
#3. Breeding.

please tell me,
I have 5 mollies and 0 guppys.

I am intrestedin guppys, but need your opinion.

In the right water a molly will live 3 years or more and a guppy may live 18 months. That is a big if though. Mollies are more demanding in their needs than guppies so it can easily come out the other way around. For a nice long life on a molly, it needs hard water with a high pH, over 7.5 minimum. I believe that you said in another thread that all of your tanks are small ones of 7 gallons or less. That will also be a big factor in keeping these fish. A single molly can live well in a 7 gallon tank but not much less and would be crowded if there were much more than 2 fish in the tank. A 7 gallon tank is big enough to hold several guppies in good health.
All of these factors should be taken into consideration when deciding how you want to stock your tank.

As always a great information from you sir,

And it's a big thing for me that you remembered that i had 7 gallon tank.

And sir my first priority is always the life span.

Thankyou.

3 females For one male.

You'll have ALOT more baby fry. ( That makes up for them living for only 18 months ) Hench the reason people Breed generations of guppys ( Siblings with siblings ) To produce the same / Nice offspring :good:

but im tellin ya alind that avoid fin nipper tetras and other fin nipper fish especially tiger barbs they are very nippy trust me so avoid nippy fish

Good advice from Aleem there. Nippy fish have no place in a nice peaceful guppy or molly tank.
