Hi

Im not sure if this is the right place to post this, but why is it that my guppies keep dying?

I have a 30litre biorb with 2 Algee shrimp, 3 red cherries, 1 danio, and 3 tetras, I did also have 3 guppies about 6 months ago but they didnt last I gave it 6 months and recently added another 2 guppies but again last week 1 went missing and i couldnt find it anywhere, I have a feeling he was dead behind the rocks as the algee shrimp seem to be behind there alot, then yesterday i noticed the other one missing and i think this one must have gone behind the rock as again my shrimp seemed to be spending quite some time behind there, do you think my shrimp are killing them? My other fish are fine and have been in the tank for nearly a year now.

What do you think?

It is really hard to say SimplySim. What are your water tests showing for numbers? How often and how much water do you change? What is the chemistry of your tap water? Then possibilities are numerous but the first thing we should consider is whether you have suitable water for keeping guppies.
