Guppys And Bettas?

I don't know about females (never kept them so don't know how different their temperment is) but I wouldn't keep a male with guppies. Male bettas are known to attack and nip guppies because of their long, brightly colour tails.

I think mixed fruit tetras are dyed fish, and they are dyed by being injected with dye. The practice is cruel and can weaken a fish's immune system and can leave it open to infections. I really recommend you don't buy any mixed fruit tetras, because you would be supporting the practice of dying fish.

I think the mixed fruit tetras are an albino form of the black skirt tetra which are dyed.

they are in fact dyed. try to stay away from them.
just rember that like 40% of dyed fish die in the process.

yeah i agree about the females i think panter has been snacking on my yellow guppies tale

males im not sure about stripe just left the guppies alone but i think that parma would tear them apart so i dont think id keep them together no more

my girls are as feisty as my males....I have a silver molly upstairs and next door gave me some water snails for my gsp there was a tiny guppy fry in there so I put it in my mollys tank only saw the poor thing for a day...felt so guilty!

Everyone has pretty much said what I wanted.
We used to have some guppies and when I put in a female betta with them, suddenly a chunk of one of the guppies tails went missing. I never saw her messing with them though so *shrugs*
But even still.. just in case it was her, I won't put any more guppies with a betta again.
